Our Toys for Tots collection drive finished up for the 2020 season with great success thanks to our fantastic customers! We are still collecting food for the Salvation Army. This may be a constant effort.

We recently donated products to L.O.L.A.'s Rescue and Colorado Preservation, Inc.
December 5th we hosted the first ever virtual "M.A.N. UP / Mental Accountability Network in our Private Taste Room.

M.A.N. UP, was created to end the stigma of Mental Health, bring awareness and to offer support. Just a pull-up, check in to say "Bro, are you okay??"

October 2nd and 3rd we joined Upadowna with tasters and cocktails for their fundraising music festival, "Folk & Flannels" held at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort. This organization's mission is to provide access to outdoor adventures for all, through events and programs that empower individuals, create healthier communities, and foster a respect for the environment.

September 19th, 1350 Distilling hosted the Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention Partnership's "Race Against Suicide" Packet Pick-up for their race, which all of the owners of 1350 Distilling participated in at El Pomar Youth Center on Sunday, September 20th. The Race was both Virtual and In-Person and raised over $40,000.

1350 Distilling hosted the great people at Childhelp the weekend of September 25-26 at our Taste Lounge. We first met their volunteers outside various liquor stores around Colorado Springs and then invited them to have a booth at our place. Childhelp empowers the brave survivors of child abuse to heal and begin to dream the dreams of a beautiful life they never thought possible...a dream every child deserves. They strive to help intervene, treat and prevent child abuse. A great cause, and fantastic people.
1350 Distilling completed our own latest fundraiser with the release of our newest product, the Five Alarm Cinnamon Fire Bourbon. From September 1 through September 12th 13.50% of every bottle of our Five Alarm we sold online and in our Taste Lounge was donated to the Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial Fund. In total, we sold 33 bottles and raised $255 along with cash donations from our outstanding guests. We had some great radio interviews that allowed us to promote our event as well as inform the public about the good that the Fund and the Local 5 IAFF Chapter members do each year at the Fallen Firefighter Memorial.

On December 12, 2019 we hosted a fun event with the local AIGA Colorado Springs Chapter (American Institute of Graphic Arts) and Project Angel Heart, called "Draw for a Cause".

We had a huge and successful Toys-for-Tots toy drive for it being our first time! We offered a free shot of choice with a toy donation. Some amazing people flooded our Taste Lounge with literally truckloads of toys for our regional youth.

Thanks to all those that attended our Grand Opening, we raised $451.91 for the three organizations listed. Read more here.

13.50% of sales collected during our Grand Opening (8-11 NOV, 2019) was be split among the following organizations:
Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center provides transition and employment assistance, behavioral health and wellness, supportive services, connection to community resources, and safe event space for veterans, military members and their families. Our non-profit has directly impacted more than 5,000 unique clients in the Pikes Peak region through more than 20,000 client visits since 2016.
NAMI Colorado Springs is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the United States' largest grassroots organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with mental illness. Their programs and support groups are peer-led and always free to the community. They emphasize that mental illness is biologically based, treatable and common — with 1 in 5 of us experiencing it in any given year.

Project Angel Heart was founded in 1991 to address a major challenge for Coloradans who are ill: getting the nutrition they need to get stronger, heal, and remain at home. Many are too sick to get to the grocery store or unable to cook for themselves. Others find they have to choose whether to buy food or medication to make ends meet.
That’s why Project Angel Heart prepares and delivers medically tailored meals to people living with life-threatening illnesses. Each week, our professional chefs and registered dietitian prepare thousands of delicious meals, from scratch, and tailor them to meet the medical and dietary needs of those who are ill.

Our first charitable action occurred the weekend of the IAFF Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend in 2019. We committed to provide a 13.50% discount on all bottle and merchandise sales over the weekend and raised $315.56.
The fund helps for travel, hotel, and meals to all participating family members that visit Colorado Springs during the weekend to witness their loved one honored. The honoree's name is announced at the ceremony and it is engraved into the permanent and powerfully emotional memorial that resides in Memorial Park. This includes airfare, shuttle busses to and from the airport, the hotels, and the events throughout the weekend. This is a big deal, and 1350 Distilling and Angel Battalion encourage all to experience and/or help by donating to the fund.
