It was an amazing week filled with people throughout our community from the Veterans Beer Club hosting their monthly event at our Taste Lounge to our first real festival of 2024 - Brews at the Zoo in Pueblo. Special thanks to our dedicated volunteers who persevered the damp and sometimes chilling weather to help us pour and share our 1350 Spirits. On Friday we were honored for winning Best Veteran Owned Business from The Gazette's Best of the Springs, voted on by you, the greatest customers in Colorado Springs. Thank you!
On Monday we were honored as one of three finalists for the Small Business Week's Veteran Small Business Owner of the Year for 2024. Congratulations to Korky of iFly for winning this category. We are proud to be one of the 15 finalists this year. So many amazing people and businesses in our community.
Coming up this week we say goodbye to April and welcome with open arms the month of MAY where we will be celebrating so many community members and Moms.
Starting on Wednesday 1 May we will begin our new promotion, "Pour it Forward". Where you can buy a drink for teachers, nurses, law enforcement, first responders, or military spouses, all in honor of the National Days happening in May. Visit us to learn more. If you are one of these professionals, there may just be a drink waiting for you when you arrive.
The Mint Julep is our Cocktail of the Month for May. The signature cocktail for the Kentucky Derby will be ours throughout the month. Read more about it's history and learn how to make your own.
